Competitive Academy Goalkeeper Program
The PRIDE Academy Goalkeeper Program is designed to develop goalkeepers of the highest caliber. The program is technically based with the emphasis being on individual development. The design of the program will deliver age group-specific sessions that will introduce and reinforce the mastery of goalkeeping techniques. The program will also provide on-field tactical instruction at training sessions to incorporate the team aspect of goalkeeping. The combination of the technical and tactical aspects of goalkeeping will provide our PRIDE goalkeepers with the foundation and the building blocks for goalkeepers to learn and progress within training and the game itself.
PRIDE goalkeepers will have a minimum of one age group-based session a week with the opportunity to attend additional sessions. Goalkeepers will have the opportunity to attend higher level sessions as they show the desire and ability of proficiency of age-level topics.
The sessions will be run by Mike Archuleta, DOC of Goalkeeping, and assisted by male and female Division 1 and 2 Collegiate goalkeepers from the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado College, and UCCS. Local professional goalkeepers from the Switchbacks (United Soccer League) as well as from the semi-professional indoor team the Colorado Blizzard. The PRIDE Soccer Club is committed to the highest level of training for our young goalkeepers.
