School of Excellence

The School of Excellence provides intense technical training for players born in 2009, 2010, and 2011 on one of the finest training facilities in Colorado. The sessions are run by a highly qualified staff of coaches with college and national team experience, high license qualification, and Premier club experience to provide the best training environment to maximize players’ development

The curriculum focuses primarily on technical development.  Each session also incorporates speed and agility exercises and ends with small sided games.

The School of Excellence provides a professional level training environment for any young aspiring soccer player. Each player will leave the school fully understanding the importance of training hard but also having fun in the process.

The School of Excellence Program is open to ALL players born in 2009, 2010, and 2011 players who have an eye toward competitive soccer or just a serious desire to improve their skills. The program consists of five 90 minute training sessions that focus primarily on technical development in small group situations. The SOE curriculum has a proven success record and is designed to teach the advanced skills required to be successful at the highest levels of the game.  If a player completes the 2 year progressive curriculum, they will be taught the correct fundamentals of dribbling, 1v1 attacking moves, passing and receiving, turns with the ball, and balls out of the air. In addition to the high level training, the SOE participants will also get a full SOE Adidas uniform which will include a jersey, shorts, socks, jacket and ball. We are excited to have Adidas, the leading soccer provider, team up with the leading academy program in the state to offer a professional training environment. All SOE participants must wear the Adidas kit to SOE trainings.

School of Excellence History

The program was founded in 2004 and since its inception we have had between 150-250 players participate in each session. We have seen huge growth in our young players’ technical ability since the School of Excellence program began and hope to see the participation levels continue at such a phenomenal rate. In the earlier years, the program was for U8-U10 players. However, with the addition of our U9 and U10 Academy program we restructured our School of Excellence program to focus on the U7 and U8 age groups.  We feel that we can have a huge impact on player development by introducing the School of Excellence to the U7 and U8 age groups and improve their technical ability at younger ages.  This focus will provide a good foundation and experience as the players prepare to enter the Junior Academy and Competitive programs.
