Summer Striker Camp

Striker Camp

  U11-14 Boys & Girls Competitive

June 10-14

Pride Complex

Camp Information:

In soccer, scoring goals is the ultimate objective of the game.  Being able to score goals under pressure is one of the most difficult tasks to complete in the game but also the most fun! This camp will focus solely on how to become a more dangerous attacker through the art of scoring goals.

No matter what position your player plays, the modern game demands that all players are able to put the ball in the back of the net. If your player is a defender, midfielder, forward or all of the above, this camp will help all players strengthen their game in their individual position(s).

Camp Focus

1. Teach the player proper shooting technique/mechanics using multiple surfaces of the body.

2.Teach the player to be an effective 1v1 attacker by using specific (1v1) movements.

3. Teach the player to make intelligent and effective decisions while on the ball under pressure in game like conditions/scenarios.

The camp is designed to help the player learn through a gradual process.  They will begin by learning proper shooting
technique/mechanics without pressure and will slowly be put into “pressure” shooting/attacking scenarios.  The ultimate goal is to have each player learn how to confidently use proper finishing technique while making good decisions under pressure to find the back of the net.

The camp will be taught by Paul Davison.
