Candy Brooks Inducted Into Colorado Soccer Hall Of Fame

Congratulations to Candy Brooks, Executive Director and co-founder of the club, for her induction into the Colorado Soccer Hall Of Fame.  Candy was recognized at the Colorado Soccer Association AGM awards banquet on January 25.
In the 25 years since the founding of Pride SC, Candy has overseen the growth from 450 players in 1994 to over 4,000 today, becoming the biggest club in Southern Colorado.  In the time since Candy helped found Pride SC, a TOPSoccer program was brought in, as well as partnerships with UCCS and the Colorado Switchbacks.

In addition to the numerous championships at the state and regional level, Pride has also fielded a successful W-League women's team and a USL2 Men's team.  Candy oversaw the development and opening of the Pride Soccer Complex, the first privately-owned club soccer facility in Southern Colorado.  Candy previously served as a member of the Advanced league Operations Committee and currently serves on the CSA Board of Directors and Disciplinary Committee.

Congratulations Candy!
