THE PRIDE SOCCER CLUB AND THE SOCCER PARENTING ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP PROVIDING SUPPORT AND EDUCATION TO YOUTH SOCCER PARENTS VIA MYSOCCERPARENTING.COM
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO, May 11, 2017 – The Pride Soccer Club and the Soccer Parenting Association today announce a partnership agreement by which all families associated with the Pride Soccer Club will now receive free access to the educational content on the MySoccerParenting.com platform.
MySoccerParenting.com seeks to improve and enhance the experience for youth soccer players by engaging and supporting the players’ parents on topics related to the Body, Mind, Coach, Parent, Next Level and the Game. Pride Soccer Club continues to make the commitment to serve its membership with the most respected programs relating to our philosophy and core values.
According to the National Alliance of Youth Sports and reported in the Aspen Institute “State of Play” report, 70% of youths stop participating in organized sports by the age of 13. While there are many reasons for this unfortunate trend, engaging parents in the game and providing them with education and guidance related to the youth soccer experience of their child is an important step towards reversing this trend.
“The investment the Pride Soccer Club is making in positively affecting the lives of the players and families associated with their club is commendable. We are proud to work with the Pride Soccer Club and are encouraged by their commitment to make a positive impact in their community through sport,” said Skye Eddy Bruce, Founder of the Soccer Parenting Association.
The My Soccer Parenting program allows us to continue to grow as an organization and to provide education for all of our members. This partnership and new material compliments the work undertaken last year with John O’Sullivan and the Changing The Game Project.
