All Little Cubs sessions will end with 15 minute small sided games, playing either 3-v-3 or 4-v-4 without goalkeepers. These games allow the players to demonstrate their developing technical skills in game situations. It also provides a great opportunity for the players to improve their understanding of the rules of the game, and ultimately the players gain experience playing with teammates.
THE PLAYERS HAVE A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO DEMONSTRATE THEIR DEVELOPING TECHNICAL ABILITIES IN GAME SITUATIONS.
A part of every Little Cubs session will also focus on AGILITY and COORDINATION, two very prevalent physical demands in the game of soccer. Soccer players must be able to stop and start and change directions quickly, and this training will help them accomplish these movements more efficiently and effectively. Players are also required to perform skills while moving, and the coordination training will allow the players to become more comfortable executing technical abilities on the move. Most importantly, the agility and coordination training will help our young players improve overall physical abilities and hopefully help with injury prevention as they continue to play this great game.
