ENTRY FEE: U7- U8 $275 --- U9 - U12 $375

 

ENTRY DEADLINE: May 16 May 23, 2008 to ensure placement. Late registration will only be considered on a space available basis. Please make checks out to Prodigy Cup and enclose a copy of your completed registration form. Mail both to Pride Soccer at 2660 Vickers Dr. Colorado Springs, Colorado 80918, or register online . Confirmation of acceptance will be made within 10 days of receipt of application and payment.

 

TEAM CHECK-IN: The coach or team manager must check in the team on June 5 from 5:00 - 9:00 pm at the El Pomar Youth Sports Park office or at least 1 hour before first scheduled game:

• Copy of official roster
• State player passes for each participant
• Copy of guest player form (provided in advance by tournament) [pdf form]
• Medical Release form for each participant (notarized for out of state teams) [pdf form]

• Birth Certificate copy for each participant
• Code of conduct form (signed by responsible party) [pdf form]

• Travel papers (for out-of-state teams only)
  Hotel Compliance form

AWARDS: Players on champion and runner-up teams in each division will receive individual awards.

 

ELIGIBILITY: USYSA, CSYSA teams. All out-of-state teams must provide appropriate travel papers from their state associations. Each team is allowed up to 3 guest players who must be listed on the “Guest Player” form included in the Acceptance letter. No player will be allowed to play on more than 1 team during this event. The maximum number of players (including guest players) is as follows:

U7 – U8: 6 v 6 (5 + keeper): 12
U9 – U12: 8 v 8 (7 + keeper): 14

 

FORMAT: Each team is guaranteed at least 4 games with flight winners (and wildcards where appropriate) advancing to playoff rounds. Teams will be placed in Gold, Silver and sometimes Bronze divisions as requested by each participating team. The tournament committee reserves the right to combine groups as needed to balance brackets.

 

PROCEDURES: Teams are required to participate in all scheduled matches and adhere to tournament and hotel rules.
