ENTRY FEE: $550

 

ENTRY DEADLINE: July 11, 2008 to ensure placement. Late registration will only be considered on a space available basis. Please make checks out to PRIDE Soccer and enclose a copy of your on-line confirmation form and mail both to Pride Soccer at 2660 Vickers Dr. Colorado Springs, Colorado 80918. Confirmation of acceptance will be sent out the next business day after the deadline date. No refunds will be given after the deadline date. All registrations must be completed on-line.

 

AWARDS: Players on champion and runner-up teams in each division will receive individual awards.

 

ELIGIBILITY: USYSA, CSYSA,  Competitive or advanced league teams. All out-of-state teams must provide appropriate travel papers from their state associations. Each team is allowed up to 3 guest players who must be listed on the “Guest Player” form included in the Acceptance letter. No player will be allowed to play on more than 1 team during this event. The maximum number of players on any roster (including guest players) is 18.

 

FORMAT: Each team is guaranteed at least 3 games with flight winners (and wildcards where appropriate) advancing to playoff rounds. Teams will be placed in Gold, Silver and sometimes Bronze divisions as requested by each participating team. The tournament committee reserves the right to combine groups as needed to balance brackets.

 

SITES: All games will be played in Colorado Springs.

 

PROCEDURES: Teams are required to participate in all scheduled matches and adhere to tournament and hotel rules

 

INCLEMENT WEATHER: The tournament committee has the authority to make any changes deemed necessary including delaying games, shortening match length, or other changes it sees fit to determine match winners and advancement.

 

Check In Procedures

You may do early check-in by mail or e-mail.  You will need to provide clear & readable photo copies of all the forms listed below in the “Things Needed at Check in” section to include player cards (front & back).  You will be able to pick up your official tournament roster at the venue admin tent prior to your first game.

• If you are mailing your information, it will need to be post marked by July 25, 2008.
• If you are e-mailing your information, it will need to be in by July 29, 2008.

Walk in check-in will be at the The Academy Hotel Best Westeren located at 8110 North Academy Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO. 80920  from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Thursday July 31, 2008. 

 

Things Needed at Check In:

• Copy of your club certified USYSA, US Club or AYSO roster
• Copy of your final Guest Player Roster if any
• Player Passes
• Birth Certificates
• Code of Conduct Agreement
• Medical Release Forms (A notarized copy is required for out-of-state teams)
• Hotel Compliance Form (out-of-state and out-of-town teams)
• Travel Papers (out-of-state teams only)

RULES: FIFA laws of the game as modified by CSYSA and the Pride of the Rockies committee will apply.
